The manga series inspired two stage musicals and obtained the second place in the 2018 “Recommended comics selected by Japanese bookstores” prize (JP). An anime adaptation was announced during the Jump Festa 2020 event.
Why it could be interesting?
A new work of Ryosuke Takeuchi that adapted the popular novel of the sci-fi writer Hiroshi Sakurazaka “All you need is kill” which was the source material for the movie “Edge of Tomorrow”. While the original story credits belong to Sakurazaka, Takeuchi did an awesome job with its manga adaptation and it’ll be interesting to see something directly planned by him.
